After a few years of break from futile attempts at making linux work right I tried it... Still nothing works.
I don't mean that there aren't programs, I mean that shit doesn't work, or crashes, crashes very very often.
Linux (Ubuntu at least) works very well (unless you want all those crappy commercial games) and is gratis: the computer doesn't crash, Firefox works almost perfectly and I can read Leth Hate- which in spite of the annoying pop-up warning has nothing worth the adult rating (THAT is frustrating!)
Really making jokes about how crappy is Linux is something of a decade ago. You're getting old.
Phonetically (Spanish phonetics, there's no such thing as phonetic writing in English) would be like:
... ya ya! samzinj abaut santral park ant madison [e]skuar... leidi laiberti ant da empair estait...
I've been using Linux in one way or another since Mandrake 10 (currently using Jolicloud on my notebook). I know it's advantages and I know it's limitations. So yeah, I've actually had to configure my XORG.CONF file a couple of times.
I'm no 'fanboy' I have Ubuntu because I'm poor and can't afford paying for Windows (anyhow, I've heard it's as bad as always) much less for a Mac. What I found is that Ubuntu is as good as Windows or better - today it is. And the consumer service (so to say) is a lot better and more flexible.
I have never configured my xorg file, I do not even know it exists (vague idea): I'm an Ubuntu user just as normal and ignorant as any Windows user. But I got my computer for 1/3 of the usual cost (and came with Ubuntu by default).
Face reality: Ubuntu is going to take over the SO market because it's gratis and because it's as good as anything else.
I'm no 'fanboy' I have severe emotional problems because I'm poor and can't afford paying for sex (anyhow, I've heard it's as bad as always) much less for a handjob. What I found is that heroin is as good as therapy or better - today it is. And the injection needle (so to say) is a lot better and more flexible.
I have never configured my Teevo, I do not even know it exists (vague idea): I'm a video user just as normal and ignorant as any radio user. But I got my video for 1/3 of the usual cost (and came with red tape by default).
Face reality: Video is going to take over the terrestrial market because it's gratis and because it killed the radio star.
